We took our mum for a meal today for her 98th birthday. Service and meals were excellent couldn't say more staff were great. Thankyou so much.
This place is a little gem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless clean,stayed for 2 nights with the dog in tow. Breakfast was excellent, ate in the restaurant food was awesome and loads of it,definitely worth a visit. I will certainly be back. Peebles was a great place,stunning scenery, amazing walks
We didn’t stay at the hotel so can’t comment on the rooms. Menu was excellent in terms of price variety and quality. Staff were attentive friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations to other places locally. A great little sun trap outdoor seating for when the Sun shines. Good friendly Pub great place to watch the world go by! The chef/Manager, James, is a real asset to this establishment and he’s doing a great job!
Just had the most amazing and probably the best bar food ever along with the nicest most hospitable staff. Food I would say definitely restaurant material absolutely brilliant end to our holiday weekend, will definitely be back
A big thanks for new years day , we went out for drinks and on arrival we where treat to a free drink and then food what a great way to treat people thank you very much .
The experience offered excellent value for money, with prices that felt very fair for the quality of food and service provided. The staff were attentive throughout, making sure everything was just right and adding a personal touch to the visit. One moment that really stood out was when the bald gentleman, Andy, if I remember correctly, broke into a cheerful rendition of “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful and light-hearted gesture that it genuinely lifted my spirits and made the day feel that little bit more special.
Absolutely Brilliant, very enjoyable breakfast Called in for Breakfast on the off chance, wasn’t staying in the hotel, just passing through and stopped off in the town. A warm welcome and the best brecky we’ve had in a very long time, wish we had the opportunity to have an evening meal but we’re back in September for a cycling event so will be sure to call in again then. A basic hotel in the heart of Peebles, but pleasant nonetheless. We got a spacious room on the first floor. The room and bathroom are pretty basic but clean. A rich tea set welcomed us. Not impressed by the bathroom window locked shut. Staff were all helpful. The restaurant has good food with massive portions for the price: the pate as starter could have been a main, the burger is huge and the selection of desserts on the board is almost unlimited. Both we ordered were delicious and huge, all for a fair price.
